Fair Oaks, CA – Less than a month after the world famous Sacramento Jazz Jubilee wraps up it’s incredible mix of musicians, Fair Oaks will become the center of the Blues world with the 9th Annual Northern California Blues Festival, benefiting Through the Mind, a developing non-profit program that provides free alternative mental health care to returning war veterans suffering from PTSD.

Expanding this year to become a two day festival June 21 & 22 at Fair Oaks Park, the Northern California Blues Fest (NCBF) will feature 11 artists including the always ready to party Elvin Bishop as the Saturday headliner, and the legendary Maria Muldaur as the Sunday headliner.

Joining these incredible acts are other notables including the Mighty Mike Schermer and Sacramento’s own Mick Martin & the Blues Rockers.

Topping out the line-up will be several regional bands including winner’s of this year’s Sacramento Blues Society Blues Challenge and finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the Delta Wires.

“Sacramento has not seen a line-up of talented Blues artists like this in quite some time” says William Neece, talent coordinator for the festival, “and with the help of the Sacramento Blues Society, we have been able to kick the NCBF up quite a few notches!”

An all ages Family event, the festival also includes a Classic Car Show, Kids Zone, craft vendors, food and spirits and a Sunday morning pancake breakfast.

One day and full weekend passes are available including VIP Stage Front Seating that includes cocktail service and discount tickets for Seniors, Youth, Students & Military. Prices range from $15 – $75.
