Bluewater Productions newest comic book release this week tells the story of the music world in the sixties.

The Sixties is a 22-page comic book in print as well as digital.   In the 1960s, millions of young men and women were searching for a way to express their deepest desires and fears. And they found that in rock and roll as a host of musicians armed with nothing more than poetic lyrics and electric guitar riffs became the voice of a generation.

Lewis Helfand wrote The Sixties with art by Henry Simon.  The comic book features a cover by famed artist Patricio Carbajal.

“As a writer, there are some assignments that are just assignments—they don’t stir up any passion. As a lifelong fan of rock music, having the chance to tell the story of the origins of rock made working on The Sixties one of the most exciting books I’ve been involved in”, said writer Lewis Helfand.

The 60’s were an incredible years of revolution in some aspects, especially in music. I enjoyed drawing this issue,” added artist Henry Simon.
